Formation
Initial consultative meeting called by Bureau of Product Standards (BPS), together with Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI) and PTB Germany Technical Cooperation consultants.
SEC Registration
PhilMSTQ officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-profit non-stock association. Received initial seed funding from PTB Germany.
IFM Partnership
Serving as the exclusive Philippine distributor for IFM Quality Services (Australia), enabling local laboratories to access internationally recognized proficiency testing programs.

The national metrology institute of Germany. PTB extends technical cooperation to developing countries to provide an enabling environment for their NQI systems.
Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS)
The National Standards Body of the Philippines established by Republic Act 4109. Mandated to develop, implement and coordinate standardization activities.
National Metrology Laboratory of the Philippines
The national metrology institute of the Philippines, responsible for establishing and maintaining national measurement standards for physical quantities.

Handles the accreditation of certification bodies, inspection bodies, testing, and calibration laboratories in the country.
